Jiaonan’s perspective article on the concept and recent development of OSiP has been published in JACS. Specifically, we summarize recent advances in the design, synthesis, and structural analysis of OSiPs with various organic conjugated moieties as well as the application of OSiPs in photovoltaics, light-emitting devices, and transistors.
