New visiting Postdoc

The group warmly welcomes a new visiting postdoc fellow Dr. Hyuntae Choi joining us. Hyuntae received his PhD in Chemical Engineering from POSTECH with Prof. Taiho Park and currently a postdoc at Chungnam National University with Prof. Seulki Song. He will work on perovskite solar cells and LEDs. Welcome to the group. Look forward to working together!

New publication

Yuanhao’s work on “Triplet Management at Ligand-Perovskite Interface to Enhanced Photovoltaics Performance” has been published in ACS Energy Letters. Congratulations!

We report the observation of charge transfer from FAPbI3 to the triplet state of a pyrene (Pyr)-based cationic ligand. Interestingly, a subtle structural modification from Pyr to the triphenylene (TP) core gave rise to shallower triplets that prohibit triplet electron transfer. This strategy has led to an enhanced efficiency of 24.69% from 23.10%. The devices retained above 80% initial PCE after 4000 h of light soaking. Read the story here.
